It's not just bad remastering!
The problem here goes beyond just bad remastering. The first second or two of the first track, "Man Should Surrender", is actually CUT OFF!! This wouldn't matter so much if it were a song that fades in, but this song starts right on the beat. The original vinyl is the only way to hear this song begin on the first beat. The PAILHEAD cd that preceded this one made the same mistake with this same song, although not as much was cut off there as on SIDE TRAX. I bought this CD partly to correct that problem, but no such luck. At least the other Ministry reissue, EARLY TRAX, corrected this problem with the song, "Every Day Is Holloween". The begining of that song was butchered this same way on the TWELVE INCH SINGLES cd.

For those that don't wanna spend big...
If you've seen this on Amazon for anywhere between $16 and $100 (which is totally rediculous), please go to www dot celldweller dot com, click store, and order it there for $15. It's an amazing double disc with alternate mixes of what you heard on Celldweller's S/T album, instrumental versions of all the songs on the S/T album, and a complete do-over of Circle Of Dust's Goodbye. This is well worth the $15!

Breath of fresh air in the saturated Industrial/EBM Genre
From a weary music fan I must say this is quite impressive. Decent vocals throughout, but the awesome beats and song structure carry this album.
