Nocturne "Paradise Wasted" Album Review

NOCTURNE ROCKS!
I first met Lacey at a Pigface show a couple of years ago, when she was on tour with them. She was really nice when I talked to her, and she performed well with Pigface. Then I saw her band Nocturne performing with Ministry, and I have to say, I was blown away! They put on an amazing performance!!! Lacey was so sexy and the band was heavy and powerful. I bought the album "Paradise Wasted", and all the songs are so good, and I still can't make up my mind which is my favorite song. Right now, I'm leaning towards, "Happy" and "My Bitch", but there are so many good ones on this CD. So to sum up, BUY THIS ALBUM! You will be so glad you did!

Hate Dept "Ditch" Album Review

GREAT ALBUM
This was a great album and shows how far Hate Dept has progressed. The guitars and synths are always spot on. This album has a more refined sound. The opening song Meaner is a great introductory, heavy, riff laden explosion of sound. The song "Insects" is more on the hip hop pop side but is done well. My favorites on here are "Meaner", "Not The One", "Peace is your dream", "Gravity", "Do it for money", "California", and "Just say no to Love". I enjoy Siebold's voice and being able to hear it. I'm sooooo tired of industrial bands that mask their voice. Skinny Puppy did it first so we can give them credit but everybody, their dog, and their family began to do it from after that point. It's really played out now. I can't wait until the new CD "A New Ghost".
